Jordan River & Mt Nebo

Jordan River - Baptism site of Jesus.
Jordan River is one of the 9 sources of water for Jordan.
Jordan River is where John's ministry took place, where Israelites led by Joshua first crossed into the Promised Land and where Elijah was taken into Heaven on a Chariot of fire.

Mount Nebo, Memorial of Moses.
Moses died on Mount Nebo after seeing the Promised Land (Deut 34).
Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land because he disobeyed God who told him to 'Speak to the rock' whereas he hit it twice (Numbers 22).

Bronze snake: When Israelites complained, fury of God was on them and he sent venomous snakes to bite them. Then when they repented, He instructed Moses to build this sculpture so that whoever who sees it would be healed of bites.
